Born in 1981 in Aizuwakamatsu, Fukushima.
Mhak started his career as an artist in 2004 after working as a designer for an apparel brand.
He constantly seeks new possibilities in his work through his art exhibitions, live-paintings, murals, and collaborations with apparel brands.
Inspired heavily by "flow" of graffiti as an action, he pursuit the beauty of curvy contour lines.
He held his first solo exhibition in Portland, OR in 2007.
Since then, he has been exhibiting his works internationally.
In 2008, Mhak was selected as the first artist for Levi Strauss "Global Customized Button Cover" and Levi Strauss Latin America invited him to exhibit in Buenos Aires, Argentina in 2009.
Not only has he been constantly showing his works internationally, he has also collaborated with apparel brands such as Cleatis Preston (New Zealand) and Monsieur. T (USA).
Mhak currently resides in Tokyo with his girlfriend and two cats.

1981年福島県会津若松生まれ。
2004年某アパレルブランドのデザイナーを経て、自身の創作活動を開始。
国内外での展示、ライブペイントや内装壁画、アパレルブランドとのコラボレーションなどで常に新しい可能性を追求した作品を発表。
曲線の美しさを追求した作品は、グラフィティの要素にみられる描く行為（フロー）に多大な影響を受けたもの。
2007年に、アメリカ･ポートランドで自身初の個展を開催した事をきっかけに国外を軸とした活動を精力的に開始。
2008年にはLevi Straussの"GLOBAL CUSTOMIZED BUTTON COVER"の第一弾アーティストに抜擢され、Levi Strauss Japan / USA とアーティスト契約を結び、2009年4月にLevi Strauss Latin Americaの招待による個展をアルゼンチン･ブエノスアイレスで開催。
定期的な国外での展示はもちろんのこと『CLEATIS PRESTON (New Zealand)』『Monsieur.T (USA)』といった国外のアパレルブランドへのアートワーク提供など国際的に活動の幅を拡げている。
